Men do not prefer long legs

According to this new study published in the Body Image journal, men prefer women with average length legs as supposed to very long ones. The study showed photographs to men, in which the legs of women had been either shortened or lengthened slight to alter the leg-to-body ratio, but keeping the overall height the same. The results were that men chose the women with the shorter legs. Researchers are unclear as to why this is but one valid idea is how a woman with very long legs and a small torso might find it harder to carry a baby.
